Soccer Curriculum: Ages 6-8

This is a non-competitive program where your child will learn the fundamentals of soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting, position play, and in-class scrimmages. Other than our focus of learning the game we also strive to develop essential life skills that will help your child grow, on and off the field. 

We use the scaffolding teaching technique which starts off with ground level (basics) and we grow into more complex teachings of the sport as the camp moves forward.

Max Camp Size: 10

• Smaller group sizes for HIGHER quality instruction
• 5 athletes to 1 coach ratio

What to bring:

Who We Are: 

Phoenix Sports is owned, designed and directed by the previous Kelly Elementary PE instructor. Coach Doug holds a multiple subject credential and a Masters in Education with over 10 years of classroom experience.

Phoenix Sports was created to help children develop fundamental skills in the selected sport while helping to build the confidence and desire to continue at a higher level and beyond into competitive leagues. With a focus on developmental life skills, healthy and positive social interactions, and communication skills. Phoenix Sports strives to help children grow in all aspects of childhood and sports.
