Full-Day | 8:30am - 3:30 pm | 7 hours per day
Half-Day | Any 4 Hours between 8:30 - 3:30pm 

Age Flexibility:
Age 2.5-3 and potty trained? We can accommodate.
Ages 9-11 | We can accommodate.

Details about the camp: 
Phoenix Sports full-day camps are designed to keep children engaged and physically active all day with various fun and easy sports and art activities. Children will and interact with other children throughout the day while playing soccer, flag football, basketball (if location permits), and other amazing field games like capture the flag, dodgeball, kick ball, water fights, obstacle courses, and much more. 

Age Groups:
Groups are separated by ages 3-5 and 6-9. We make accommodations for siblings, cousins, and friends. 

Campers will rotate through the coach selected activities and sports as a group throughout the day. 

Different Skill Levels:
We are a noncompetitive and we focus on activities that children of all skill levels can participate in. We will assess and differentiate activities for each group based on skill level but out main focus is keeping all children included and active.

Art Rotation & Instruction:
Our creative art classes are guided by adults with art experience who have developed thoughtful art projects and interactive activities that nurture creativity. The children will love creating projects for mom and dad and will show them off at the end of camp.
 

Rotations:

All children will be separated into AGE APPROPRIATE groups and rotate through the following stations. 

PIZZA PARTY & WATER FIGHT FRIDAYS! 

Station 1: Soccer (swapped for football, basketball, coaches choice)

Station 2: Art Class & Projects

Station 3: Football, basketball, coaches choice
(station 3 is based on the whole camp size and the need for a 3rd station. If a 3rd station is not needed, station 1 will be swapped throughout the day with other activities)


Field Games: Capture the flag, kickball, dodgeball, various tag games, obstacle courses, and much more

10:00 - 10:10 am - (Water/Snack Break & Transition Time)
10:10 - 10:50 am - (Groups will work at Station 1, 2, or 3)
10:50 - 11:00 am - (Water/Snack Break & Playground Break)
11:00 - 11:30 am - (Groups will work at Station 1, 2, or 3)
11:30 - 12:00 am - Lunch Break, Playground, Free Time, Open Art
12:00 - 12:30 pm - Field Games (dodgeball, kickball, tag, & more)
12:30 - 12:45 pm - Half-Day Check Out (if 8:30 arrival)
12:45 - 1:30 pm - (Groups will work at Station 1 or 2)
1:30 - 1:45 pm - (Water/Snack Break & Transition Time)
1:45 - 2:30 pm - (Groups will work at Station 1 or 2)
2:30 - 2:45 pm -       (Water/Snack Break & Transition Time)

Carlsbad Daycare Sports Camp Details:

Max Camp Size: 24

- smaller group sizes for HIGHER quality instruction
- 8 athletes to 1 coach ratio

What to bring:
- Water (water refill stations at the park)
- TONS of Snacks: kids will run from drop-off to pick-up and need the energy
- Lunch: Full-day, pack a lunch | half-day, pack a small lunch
- Close toed shoes & athletic clothes
- NO personal sports balls (we have all the equipment)
- Sunscreen (coaches can apply to face, ears but not legs & arms)

Curriculum: 
Phoenix Sports is designed and directed by a local Carlsbad Unified primary grade educator. Our focus is on the whole child and promoting growth through fun activities that coach the fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, socialization, and persistence.
