DAY CARE CAMP DETAILS
Camp Hours
Full-day = 8:30 - 4:00
Half-day = any 4 hours between
(please respect these times as coaches need time to set-up and get back to regular life. Thanks)

-------------------------------------

What to bring:
  • SUNSCREEN (we can apply to face/neck)
  • Water bottles
  • TONS of Snacks: kids will run from drop-off to pick-up and need the energy
  • Lunch: Full-day, pack a lunch | half-day, pack a small lunch
  • Close toed shoes & athletic clothes
  • NO personal sports balls (we have all the equipment)

Bathrooms: (potty trained)
Phoenix Sports policy is to walk children to the bathrooms in groups and coaches will check inside before allowing children to walk in. Coaches will wait outside unless a child has an emergency and needs immediate assistance.

Participants MUST be potty trained as coaches are not trained or allowed to change diapers, pull-ups, etc. If a participant has an accident, coaches will call the parents to come help change the child. If an adult packs extra clothes, we can have the child change their clothes but will not be able to assist unless written consent is given.

If your camper needs help in the bathroom with pulling down or pulling up pants, please write an email to me giving coaches consent to do so.

What to expect:
Phoenix Sports full-day & half-day camps are designed to keep children engaged and physically active all day with various art projects and beginner sporting activities. Our activities and sports stations are designed to be fun, engaging, and thoughtful. Campers will learn the basic fundamentals of the various sports through fun games, activities, and obstacle courses that involve the sports equipment.

Campers will play and interact with other children in age appropriate groups while rotating through stations that include soccer, flag football, and basketball (if location permits). Our activities are designed to be age appropriate, skill appropriate, thoughtful, beginner skill based, engaging, while still being fun and leisurely.

We do NOT use whistles and we do not run strenuous skills drills that might be uncomfortable for some.

Mixed in throughout the day are also amazing field games like capture the flag, dodgeball, kick ball, tag games, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, and much, much more.

Alternate Pick-Up:
If someone other than the person listed on the roster is picking up your child, please leave their full name and notify the pick up person that they will need an ID to check out.

Drop-Off:
Please find any coach in a red shirt who will point you to the check in coach. On the first day, you will check in with a coach, introduce yourself and sign a physical waiver that incorporates our OPT IN/OUT option for our photo release (see below). Please check in with a coach and DO NOT just drop off from the car.

Photo Release Option:
The physical waiver has an option for YES or NO. Phoenix Sports might take photos of the campers and post online and is not limited to our social media accounts and/or website. We DO NOT use names or any other personal information.

Pick-Up:
Please be prepared to present ID at pick up and find a coach to check out your child. You will not need to sign anything but we need the physical and verbal confirmation that you are picking up your child with an ID to be released. Please DO NOT shout from a car window for your child to come out.

Pizza and Water Fight: 4 or 5 day camps only
The last day of camps are fun days with pizza and a water fight. Pizza is usually from Dominos (cheese & pepperoni).

If the weather permits, we will also have a water fight with squirt guns, bubbles, and other hose type equipment. So pack or wear swim shorts, a suit, and bring extra clothes if necessary. You may notify a coach if your child does not want to participate.

Conclusion:
Thank you and we look forward to working with your children over the week and hopefully over the summer!

My contact information is below so please feel free to reach out anytime.
