Bathroom Policies
Potty Training Policy
At Phoenix Sports, we require all campers to be fully potty trained prior to attending our programs. Our staff members are not certified to assist with diapering or changing pull-ups.
Accidents and Assistance:
• Parental Support: If there’s a possibility your child may have an accident, we ask that a parent or guardian remain nearby to provide necessary assistance.
• Extra Clothing: Please provide a change of clothes for your child in case of an accident.
• Dressing Assistance: Staff are not permitted to assist with dressing (e.g., pulling up pants). However, with explicit written permission, they can facilitate as needed.
Granting Permission:
If you wish to authorize Phoenix Sports staff to assist your child with dressing after an accident, please send an email to gophoenix@gophoenixsports.com with the following statement:
“I, [Your Name], allow Phoenix Sports to help my child, [Child’s Name], get dressed if they require assistance after an accident.”
Bathroom Procedures
To ensure the safety and comfort of all campers during bathroom breaks, we have established the following protocols:
• Supervised Access: Coaches will escort children to the restroom upon request but will not enter the restroom with them.
 • Safety Check: Before allowing a child to enter, the coach will inspect the restroom by announcing their presence and briefly checking inside to ensure it’s safe.
• Prohibited Actions: Coaches are not allowed to enter the restroom while a camper is inside, unless there’s an emergency requiring immediate attention.
Assistance with Toileting:
If your child needs help getting onto the toilet or with clothing adjustments, explicit written permission is required. Please email gophoenix@gophoenixsports.com with your consent.
