Weekly Sports Activities

Campers will interact with several sporting activities throughout the week. Including soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and field hockey.

Campers will also get a chance to learn self discipline and focus in our amazing martial arts rotation with our certified marital arts instructor!

Campers will also get to train like a superhero with our two highly certified personal fitness trainers for fun fitness activities and obstacle courses.

 

Weekly Themed Schedule & Details

All campers will be separated into AGE APPROPRIATE groups (ages 3-5 & 6-9) and rotate through the following stations. Water breaks are frequent as well as shade breaks for the campers to cool down. 

Phoenix Sports does NOT REQUIRE campers to participate in any rotation. Campers are allowed to participate in any rotation so long as that station is open and staffed.

 

🔬 Mad Science Mondays: (STEAM Activities)

Turn your child into a mini-Einstein! 🧪✨ On Mondays, kids become explorers of the unknown with thrilling science experiments that bubble, pop, and fizz. Whether they’re making slime, launching mini rockets, or creating colorful chemical reactions, they’ll be so mesmerized by the wonders of science that they won't even realize they’re learning!

 

🎨 Tie-Dye Tuesdays: (STEAM Activities)

Get ready for a burst of color and creativity! 🌈👕 Tuesdays are all about turning plain white tees into vibrant works of wearable art. With every swirl and splash, your child will be crafting unforgettable memories and masterpieces they’ll be proud to show off. It’s a day filled with color, creativity, and countless giggles!

 

🤪 Fort Building Wednesdays: (STEAM Activities)

Wednesdays are all about imagination and silliness! 🏰😜 We’ll start with wacky hairdos and move into zany games that let kids be their goofy, fabulous selves. Then, they’ll work together to build the ultimate forts! Whether it’s a cozy hideaway or a mighty castle, kids will love letting their creativity and teamwork run wild.

 

🏃‍♂️ Ninja Warrior Thursdays: (STEAM Activities)

Unleash the inner ninja! 🥷💪 Thursdays transform our campers into daring adventurers as they tackle obstacle courses and master martial arts moves. Kids will swing, climb, and jump through challenges, building strength and agility while feeling like real-life ninja warriors. It’s all about pushing limits and having a blast!

 

🎈 Water Fun Fridays: (STEAM Activities)

Splash into the weekend! 💦🎉 Fridays are the ultimate celebration with water games, surprise treats, and loads of laughter. From water balloon battles to slip 'n slides, it’s a day of cooling off and enjoying the best of summer fun. What better way to cap off an incredible week than with a day dedicated to pure, splashy joy?

Our Philosophy: 

Phoenix Sports is owned and directed by Coach Doug, who holds a multiple subject credential in education with over 9 years of classroom experience with grade TK-3.

Coach Doug was also a previous Carlsbad Unified PE instructor at Kelly Elementary. Our curriculum focuses on the whole child while promoting sports skills and developmental life skill through fun activities that coach the fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, socialization, and communication.
